Croydon Vision audio project

In 2021, I led the development and commissioning of an audio piece featuring sight loss group Croydon Vision on the experience of visually impaired people in the public realm. Croydon Vision is a thriving community network of hundreds of blind and partially sighted people, and their families, from across south London. Members shared their stories and experiences in a series of wide-ranging conversations: which covered how surfaces and colours affect partially sighted people, plus bins on pavements. I commissioned audio artists Haus Projects to develop the work, which was published on the Open City’s popular built environment podcast. The project was funded by TfL.
